Nikon AF-S DX Micro-Nikkor 85mm

About.com has reviewed a mid-range zoom lens from Tamron that can be used for Canon, Nikon, Pentax and Sony cameras. The Tamron lens has a fast F/2.8 constant aperture that is useful and it also features compact size and non-rotating internal-focus (IF).

The reviewer finds the lens to be fast, has good auto focus and the f2.8 aperture is useful. There are some negative sides including corner softness and reports of inconsistency between individual lenses. Overall this Tamron lens has got a lot to offer, especially if you at the price tag.

Nikon AF-S Nikkor 35mm f/1.4G is an interesting prime lens that is very fast with its f/1.4 and an interesting focal length at 35mm. The lens uses Nano Crystal Coat to reduce flare and it has Silent Wave Motor for fast and silent autofocus. The website Photography Blog has now reviewed this Nikon Lens.

SLR Gear ends up giving the Panasonic 12.5mm f/12 Lumix G 3D a good review, but there are some shortcoming. Since the lens is f/12 you need a lot of light to take 3D pictures. You also need a big 3D TV and 3D glasses to really enjoy the photos that this lens produces. If you are into 3D-photography and are a Micro Four Thirds photographer this should be the lens for you, especially if you look at the reasonable price tag.
