HDRsoft has updated their popular HDR (High Dynamic Range) software Photomatix Pro to version 3. Among the new features are Workflow Shortcuts palette and two ghosts removal algorithms.

Apple’s popular photo editing and organizing tool, Aperture, has been updated to version 2.1. Aperture 2.1 updates several functions in the program and according to Apple, be faster and more stable.

A big improvement in Aperture 2.1 is the support for plug-ins from third party developers.

Adobe Elements 6 is now out for the Mac system. Adobe Elements is a “light” and cheaper version of Adobe Photoshop, but contains a lot of the Photoshop functions.
