Pentax smc DA* 50-135mm f/2.8

DIWA Labs has tested the lens Pentax smc DA* 50-135mm f/2.8 ED IF SDM with a Pentax K20D DSLR camera. This telephoto zoom seems pretty interesting with the constant f/2.8 throughout the zoom range.
DIWA Labs says that the Pentax lens is produced by Tokina and it is pretty similar to the Tokina AT-X Pro DX 50-135mm f/2.8 lens

Pentax Optio Z10

Imaging Resource has reviewed the Pentax Optio Z10 compact digital camera.
Some key features for the Pentax Optio Z10:
-7x optical zoom (38-266mm equivalent)
-8 megapixel sensor
-2.5″ LCD screen with 230,000 pixels
-Face detection
-Digital shake reduction (image stabilization)

Imaging Resource ends up giving the compact camera a an average verdict as the Pentax Optio Z10 is able to produce pretty good printed pictures, but the picture quality could be better when you zoom in on the pictures on PC screen.
Overall this seems like a very average digital camera.

Pentax Optio E50

Digital Camera Review has reviewed the Pentax Optio E50 digital camera. This is basically an entry level camera from Pentax that is the same class as Canon PowerShot A470 and Nikon Coolpix L cameras.
Here are some camera features of the Pentax Optio E50:

-2.4″ LCD screen
-3x optical zoom
-Face recognition
-Shake reduction

Digital Camera Reviews ends up giving the Pentax Optio E50 camera a mediocre review because the camera produces pretty poor image quality due to noise even at low ISO settings, some purple fringing and bad white balance. On the positive side the camera has very good build quality and fast auto focus.
