CNET UK has tested a new digital camera from Canon that supports GPS tracking. The camera is called Canon PowerShot SX230 HS and is very similar to the SX220 but has GPS tracking as an additional feature.

Some key features for the Canon PowerShot SX230 HS:
-12.1 megapixel image sensor
-14x optical zoom lens (28-392mm)
-Optical image stabilization
-3″ LCD screen
-GPS tracker
-Full 1080p HD Video

CNET UK ends up giving the PowerShot SX230 HS an overall score of 3.5 out of 5 possible stars. On the positive side the reviewer find aspects such as useful zoom range, the image stabilization works well, HD video and the camera is good at taking photos in low light situations. On the negative side we find points such as high price tag, poor flash, not much battery life and the camera is pretty heavy.

Trusted Reviews has test an A3+ color photo printer from Canon. The printer is called Canon PIXMA iX6550 and is able to print up to 11.3 images per minute, or so Canon claims.

Some key features for the Canon PIXMA iX6550 :
-Print photos up to A3+
-Up to 9600 dpi print resolution
-1pl minimum droplet size
-ISO ESAT 11.3 images per minute in mono and 8.8 images per minute in color
-Able to print 10×15 cm borderless photo in abouts 36 seconds
-5 single ink tanks

Trusted Reviews ends up giving the PIXMA iX6550 an overall score of 7 out of 10 possible points. The Canon printer scores highest on print quality and print speeds, while it scores a bit lower on features and value for your money. The reviewer likes that the printer is fast, has a high resolution and it has a small size. There are some negative points too including no LCD display, no memory card slots and the printer does not support wireless printing. If you are looking for a photo printer that is able to print large photos and does not need the most advanced features the iX6550 might be your choice.

Photography Blog has reviewed an entry level camera from Canon called Canon PowerShot A3200 IS. Even though the camera comes with a cheap price tag it has nice features such as 14 megapixels, HD video and zoom lens starting at 28mm on the wide side.

-2.7″ LCD screen
-Able to record HD movies 720p with Dynamic IS

Photography Blog ends up giving the PowerShot A3200 IS a “Recommended” rating with an overall score of 4 out of 5 possible stars. The Canon camera scores highest on value for your money, image quality, features and ease of use, while it scores a little lower on design. If you are an entry level photographer looking for a fun and cheap camera the A3200 might be your choice.

Imaging Resource has reviewed a new compact digital camera from Canon. The camera is called Canon PowerShot A3300 IS and has plenty of megapixels, 16 to be exact, and a nice 5x optical zoom lens starting at 28. One other cool feature with the Canon camera is “Discreet Mode” that disables the sound, flash and auto focus beam.

Some key features for the Canon PowerShot A3300 IS:
-16 megapixel image sensor
-5x optical zoom lens (28-140mm)
-Optical image stabilization
-High-definition 720p video
-3″ LCD screen
-Discreet Mode

Imaging Resource ends up giving the A3300 a good review and it even gets a “Dave’s Pick” reward. On the positive side the reviewer find the camera design to be nice, it has many good features and great image quality. There are some negative points too including poor battery life, only digital zoom while filming movies and no HDMI output. Overall Canon has produced another good compact camera that should make photographers happy.
