Photography Blog has reviewed the new Canon Powershot SD3500 IS (also know as Canon Digital IXUS 210) digital compact camera. This camera from Canon has an enormous LCD with touchscreen abilities. It also has 14 megapixels and a wide angle zoom lens.

Some key features for the Canon Powershot SD3500 IS / Canon Digital IXUS 210:
-3.5″ touchscreen LCD with 460k resolution
-14.1 megapixel image sensor
-5x optical zoom lens (24-120mm)
-Optical image stabilization
-Able to shoot 720p HD movies
-HDMI output

Photography Blog ends up giving the Canon Powershot SD3500 IS a pretty mediocre rating with an overall score of 3.5 stars, “Above Average”. The camera scores highest on design while scoring a little lower on features and ease of use. It scores lowest on image quality and value for your hard earned money. The reviewer find the touchscreen to be really nice, but the price tag is very high for a compact camera in this class and when the image quality has not improved from earlier models you really need to love touchscreen (there is no other way to control the camera) to invest in this camera.
