Sony T300

Dpreview.com has reviewed the Sony Cybershot DSC T300 compact camera. The T300 is built around a very small 1/2.3″ sensor (the T200 got a 1/2.5″ sensor) so it is interesting to see how the image quality will be with 10.1 megapixels crammed into such a small sensor.
Some key features for the Sony Cybershot DSC T300:
-10.1 million effective pixels
-5x optical zoom (33-165mm, 35mm equivalent)
-Dynamic range optimization
-3.5″ touch-screen control system

Dpreview end up giving the T300 a pretty poor rating due to poor image quality, high ISO is not useful at all and terrible battery life.
On the positive side the big 3.5″ touch-screen is very useful and the 5x optical zoom is very compact.

Nikon D300 DSLR

DIWA Labs has tested three Nikon and one Tamron lens on the Nikon D300 DSLR. The three Nikon lenses are AF-S DX Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8G IF ED, AF-S DX 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR and AF-S Micro Nikkor 60mm f/2.8G ED. The Tamron lens tested was the new Tamron AF 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II LD Aspherical (IF) Macro.

Olympus E-3 DSLR

DIWA Labs has tested five Olympus Zuiko Digital lenses on the Olympus E-3 camera body. Four of the lenses are from the Olympus’ Pro Series while the fifth lens, the Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 18-180mm f/3.5-6.3, is from the standard series.
The Pro Series lenses tested are Zuiko Digital ED 50mm f/2.0 Macro, Zuiko Digital ED 11-22mm f/2.8-3.5, Zuiko Digital ED 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 and Zuiko Digital ED 150mm f/2 with the EC-14 teleconverter.
DIWA Labs states that the Zuiko Digital ED 150mm f/2 is the best lens they have ever tested.

Sony Alpha A700

DIWA Labs has tested 3 new lenses with the Sony Alpha 700 dslr. The lenses are Carl Zeiss DT 16-80mm f/3.5-4.5 ZA, Sony 50mm f/1.4 and Sony 50mm f/2.8 Macro.
