PC Magazine has reviewed a budget camera with touchscreen from Sony. The camera is called Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T110 and has over 16 megapixels combined with a wide angle zoom lens that starts at 25mm.

Some key features for the :
-16.1 megapixel image sensor
-4x optical zoom lens (25-100mm)
-Optical image stabilization
-3″ LCD touchscreen
-Sweep Panorama Mode
-Up levels to ISO 3200

PC Magazine ends up giving the Cyber-Shot DSC-T110 a “very good” rating with an overall score of 4 out of 5 possible stars. The reviewer find several positive sides including a nice and sharp design, useful touchscreen, good image quality and good user interface. On the negative size the LCD screen resizes to 2.5″ in some instances and the camera could have faster response times. Overall the T110 is a good touchscreen camera that is able to produce pictures of good quality.

Epson WorkForce 60 wireless color inkjet printer test / review by About.com

About.com has tested a budget inkjet printer from Epson that is selling for about $100 right now on Amazon. The printer is called Epson WorkForce 60 and is able to print up to 15 pages per minute, or so Epson claims.

Some key features for the Epson WorkForce 60:
-Print speeds up to 15 pages per minute in black and 7.1 pages per minute in color
-Up to 5760 x 1440 dpi print resolution
-Wireless printing
-250-sheet paper tray
-Automatic duplexing

About.com ends up giving the WorkForce 60 an overall score of 3 out of 5 possible stars. On the positive side the reviewer finds aspects such as useful wireless printing, good print quality (especially photo prints) and the duplex printing is fast. On the negative side the reviewer does not like that the Epson printer has no media slots and there are very few features. If you are on a budget and want a straight inkjet printer without much fuss and features this WorkForce printer might be your choice.

HP Deskjet 1050 All-in-One budget printer test / review by Trusted Reviews

The HP Deskjet 1050 is a very cheap printer with a price tag below $30 at the moment. Trusted Reviews has now reviewed this budget printer. Is it able to make good prints with such a low price?

Some key features for the HP Deskjet 1050:
-All-in-One printer
-Borderless photo printing
-Print speeds up to 5.5 pages per minute in black and 4 pages per minute in color
-Scans up to 1,200ppi

Trusted Reviews ends up giving the Deskjet 1050 a very good review with a “Trusted Reviews Recommended” award and an overall score of 9 out of 10 possible points. The cheap HP printer gets a perfect score on value for your money, a little lower on print speeds and features while it scores lowest on print quality. If you are looking for a very affordable printer that is able to make acceptable prints the HP Deskjet 1050 is the choice. There are not really any other printers from other brands that can compete with this one in this price class.

General Electric GE E1480W point-and-shoot digital camera test / review by PC Magazine

It is not that too long ago that General Electric got into the digital camera business. With the GE E1480W they have created a camera with 14 megapixels and 8x optical zoom that should be good for travels. PC Magazine have now tested this GE camera.

Some key features for the General Electric E1480W:
-14 megapixel image sensor
-8x optical zoom lens (28-224mm)
-6x digital zoom
-Optical image stabilization
-3″ LCD screen
-Face detection
-18MB internal memory
-Uses SD and SDHC memory cards

PC Magazine ends up giving the E1480W a “good” rating with an overall score of 3 out of 5 points. The reviewer finds some positive points including fast and responsive controls, slim body, useful zoom range and the camera got a lot of features compared to the price. On the negative side there is aspects such as quite a bit of noise at higher ISO levels, bad user interface and no USB port. Overall you get a lot of features in this GE camera, but they could have done more work on the image quality. Hopeful General Electric will do a better job with their next cameras.
