Printer Comparison has tested the Canon PIXMA MX330 inkjet all-in-one printer. This Canon printer is able to print, scan, copy and fax, and makes photo prints in about 45 seconds.

Some key features for the Canon PIXMA MX330:
-All-in-one printer with print, scan, copy and fax
-Print speeds up to 7.5 ipm in black and 4.5 ipm in color
-Print resolution up to 4800 x 1200 maximum color dpi
-Prints 4×6 photos in about 45 seconds
-1.8″ LCD screen

Printer Comparison ends up giving the Canon PIXMA MX330 a pretty good review as the printer is easy to use, makes good enough prints and has a very nice price tag. There are a few shortcomings to the PIXMA like slow prints and not ready to use for networks. Overall it seems like a nice all-in-one printer if you can live with the slow print speeds.

PC Magazine has reviewed the Xerox WorkCentre 3220/DN monochrome laser all-in-one printer. This printer from Xerox is able to print, scan, fax and copy, and is targeted at small businesses.

Some key features for the Xerox WorkCentre 3220/DN:
-All-in-one printer that is able to print, scan, copy and fax
-250 sheet paper tray
-Automatically forward incoming faxes as e-mail attachments
-Automatic duplexer for printing

PC Magazine gives the Xerox WorkCentre 3220/DN a “Good” rating where it scores 3 out of 5 points. The reviewer likes that the printer has a lot of useful features like the email sender for faxes and stand-alone copier. The Xerox machine is also able to make prints of pretty high quality. What the reviewer does not like is that installation guide is a bit lacking and only cover the basic setup.

Epson WorkForce 40 wireless color printer test / review by Printer Comparison

Printer Comparison has tested the Epson WorkForce 40 wireless color printer. This Epson printer feature both wireless and ethernet connectivity in addition to being able to print 38 pages per minute in draft mode (or so Epson claims).

Some key features for the Epson WorkForce 40 printer:
-Print speeds up to 38ppm in draft mode
-Individual cartridge system
-Manual duplexing
-Wireless and ethernet connectivity
-Compact design

Printer Comparison ends up giving the Epson WorkForce 40 an average review as the printer has nice features, but it feels a bit cheap (and so is the price tag). On the positive side we find a lightweight and compact design, it is easy to use and has some good features. On the negative side we find that the printer has pretty poor build quality and has paper jams. For a few more dollars one might invest in a more expensive printer with better features and build quality.

Brother MFC-495cw inkjet color multifunction printer test / review by Printer Comparison

Printer Comparison has reviewed the Brother MFC-495cw inkjet color multifunction printer. This Brother printer is able to print, scan, copy and Super G3 fax in addition to having wireless connectivity.

Some key features for the Brother MFC-495cw printer:
-Able to print, scan, copy and Super G3 fax
-Wireless and ethernet connectivity
-3.3″ color LCD display
-Print speeds up to 35ppm in black and 28ppm in color
-Print resolution up to 6000 x 1200 dpi

Printer Comparison ends up giving the Brother MFC-495cw a good review as the printer is able to make excellent text and photo prints. In addition the Brother printer has a low price and lots of good features. There are a couple of negative points like slower than advertised print speeds and only manual duplexing, but overall this seems like an excellent printer for the home.
