Canon PIXMA MG3150

Trusted Reviews has tested a very cheap photo printer from Canon called Canon PIXMA MG3150. This All-in-One color printer is able to print up to 9 images per minute, or so Canon claims.

Some key features for the Canon PIXMA MG3150 printer:
-Print speeds up to 9.2 images per minute in mono and 5.0 images per minute in color
-Able to print 10x15cm borderless photo in about 44 seconds
-Prints with up to 4800dpi
-Full HD Movie Print
-Auto Duplex Printing

Trusted Reviews ends up giving the PIXMA MG3150 an overall score of 7 out of 10 possible points. The Canon printer scores highest on features and print quality, a little lower on value for your money, while it scores pretty low on print speeds. The reviewer finds that printer has some very annoying pauses during photo printing. Let us hope that Canon works on this issue with the next printer in the series.

Epson Stylus NX430

Printer Comparison has tested a so called Small-in-One printer from Epson. The inkjet printer is called Epson Stylus NX430 and has a pretty small footprint, but does it produce prints of good quality?

This wireless printer gets praise from the reviewer on aspects such as small size, low price tag and it is energy efficient. There are a few negative sides keeping the Epson printer from getting a better score including high ink costs and scanning can be a bit difficult.

Xerox Phaser 6500

CNET UK has reviewed a color laser printer from Xerox. The color printer is called Xerox Phaser 6500 and comes with a very low price tag when you compare it with other color laser printers.

-Print speeds up to 24 pages per minute in both color and monochrome
-600 dpi x 600 dpi resolution
-250 sheet paper tray
-USB, Ethernet, Wireless connectivity
-Low price tag

CNET UK ends up giving the Phaser 6500 an overall score of 4 out of 5 possible stars. On the positive side the reviewer finds aspects such as very good color prints, crisp monochrome prints, good print speeds and the printer is cheap to purchase. There is however one negative side that keeps it from getting a top score and that is pretty expensive running costs so if you make a lot of prints it might not be the printer for you, but if you are looking for a cheap color laser printer that you will not use that often the Phaser 6500 might be ideal for you.

Dell 2155cdn

Printer Comparison has reviewed a multifunction color laser printer from Dell that is able to copy, fax, scan and print. The laser printer is called Dell 2155cdn and has features such as automatic duplexing and large paper capacity.

-Automatic duplexing
-35-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF)

Printer Comparison ends up giving the 2155cdn an overall score of 3.5 stars out of 5 possible. On the positive side the reviewer finds aspects such as very fast print speeds, the toner lasts for a long time and it has potentially large paper capacity. However there are a few downsides keeping it from getting a top score including scanning might turn out lighter than the original and some print errors.
