PC World has tested a laser printer from Dell. The Dell printer is called Dell 2350dn and is able to print up to 40 pages per minute, or so Dell claims. Let us hear what the reviewer over at PC World thinks about this printer.

PC World ends up giving the Dell 2350dn a total score of 3.5 stars out of 5 possible. On the positive side the reviewer finds the printer to produce top quality prints, low running costs and it is a fast performer. There is one major negative side the reviewer finds the access to the toner to be badly marked. Overall the Dell is a good laser printer.

Trusted Reviews has tested a mono laser printer from Kyocera Mita. The printer is called Kyocera Mita FS-1320D and is targeted at the personal marked. KM claims that this printer is able to print up to 35 pages per minute.

Trusted Reviews ends up giving the Kyocera Mita FS-1320D an overall rating of 8 out of 10 possible points. The laser printer scores highest on print speeds and features while it scores a little lower on print quality and value for your money. On the positive side we find aspects such as robust build, low running costs and pretty good print quality. There is a couple of negative points like the greyscale print quality and the print speeds are slower than what the marketing says, but overall this seems to be a good mono laser printer for personal use.

-Up to 2400 x 600 dpi resolution
-Automatic duplex printing
-Wireless, ethernet and USB 2 connectivity
-250-sheet paper tray
-50-sheet multi-purpose tray

Trusted Reviews ends up giving the Brother HL-4570CDW an overall rating of 8 out of 10 possible points. The laser printer scores highest on features, a little lower on print speed while it scores lowest on value and print quality. The HL-4570CDW is a good workgroup printer with many useful features, but it has a few shortcomings like a high price tag compared to other similar printers and the color prints it produces is a bit dark.

-Print speeds up to 32 pages per minute in black and 30 pages per minute in color
-Print resolution up to 9600 dpi
-30-page automatic document feeder (ADF)
-2.4″ LCD
-Wireless, Ethernet and Hi-Speed USB 2.0 connectivity
-Automatic duplexing

Printer Comparison ends up giving the Kodak ESP 9250 an overall rating of 3.5 stars out of 5 possible. The Kodak printer scores highest on features, operational costs, performance and print speeds and a bit lower on print quality, service and support. On the positive sides we find that the printer has simple navigation, great software and easy setup, but it has some negative issues like poor draft print quality and the quality of black and white photos could have been better.
