Trusted Reviews has tested an inkjet printer from HP that comes with a very low price tag. The printer is called HP Deskjet 1000 and at the moment it sells for about £30, but it able to make good prints?

-Print resolution up to 4800 x 1200 dpi

Trusted Reviews ends up giving the HP printer a very good review with an overall score of 9 out of 10 possible points and a “Trusted Reviews Recommended” award. The printer scores highest on value where it gets a perfect score, a little lower on print quality and print speeds while it scores lowest on features. The best thing with the Deskjet 1000 is its very low price. In addition it is able to make good prints and the speeds are not that bad. If you are on a tight budget and needs an acceptable printer this might be your choice.

Printer Comparison ends up giving the the CP800 an overall rating of 3.5 stars out of 5 possible. On the positive side the reviewer find the printer to make photos of very good quality, it has a very compact design and it comes at a low price. On the negative side there are issues such as high cost per print and uses a card sized paper tray separate. If you are looking for a dedicated photo printer with a compact desing the CP800 might be your choice.
