CNET UK has reviewed the Panasonic HDC-TM700 HD camcorder. This camcorder from Panasonic is pretty expensive so it is not for all videographers, but for those of use that can afford it is interesting to see what kind of quality the camcorder brings us.

Some key features for the Panasonic HDC-TM700:
-1080p HD recording
-Touchscreen
-Able to take 14.2 megapixel pictures
-12x optical zoom (35-420mm)
-Optical image stabilization
-32GB internal memory
-Weighs 380g

CNET UK ends up giving the Panasonic HDC-TM700 HD a very good review with an overall score of 8.0 out of 10 points. The reviewer finds the TM700 to take stunning movies, has very good still photos compared to other camcorders and has nice features like manual zoom and a focus ring. What the reviewer do not like is that the HD camcorder is quite expensive and that the playback of large high quality video files can be too much for even top shelf computers.

Photography Blog has tested the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZX3 digital camera (also known as Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR3). This compact from Panasonic is the successor to the successful ZX1 and Panasonic has done some improvements especially with the video mode.

Some key features for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZX3:
-8x optical zoom lens (25-200mm)
-14 megapixel image sensor
-2.7″ LCD screen
-Optical image stabilization
-AVCHD Lite video recording
-Happy Mode

Photography Blog ends up giving the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZX3 a “Highly Recommended” rating with an overall score of 4.5 out of 5 stars. The Panasonic camera get a top score on ease of use and very high scores on design, features and image quality while scoring a little lower on value. There is not many improvements in the ZX3 compared to the ZX1 (except for better video recording), but it is still an excellent compact camera that many might consider when purchasing a camera.

Trusted Reviews has tested the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS10 compact digital camera. This camera seems similar to many other compacts in this class, but comes at a really nice price and some nice features.

Trusted Reviews ends up giving the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS10 a nice overall score of 8 out of 10 points. The FS10 scores highest on value and build quality while scoring a little lower on image quality and features. Overall this Panasonic camera seems like a good choice when you look at the price tag and what you get for your money.

This is a rugged compact camera that can handle depths down to 10m and survives falls from 2m. The camera also feature a massive 14 megapixels and almost 5x optical zoom.

Photography Blog ends up giving the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT2 a “Recommended” 4 out 5 stars rating. The camera from Panasonic scores highest on features while scoring a little lower on image quality and value for money. Overall this rugged camera seems like a real challenger to the Olympus TOUGH camera series.
