PC Mag has reviewed a waterproof camera from Fujifilm. The camera is called Fujifilm FinePix Z33WP and is able to take pictures down to depths at 3 meters for two hours. Let us hear what the reviewer thinks about this cheap Fujifilm camera.

Some key features for the Fujifilm FinePix Z33WP:
-Waterproof down to 3 meters for two hours
-10 megapixel image sensor
-3x optical zoom lens
-2.7″ LCD screen
-50 MB built-in memory
-Uses SD and SDHC memory cards

PC Mag ends up giving the Fujifilm FinePix Z33WP a pretty poor review with an overall score of 2 out of 5 possible stars and a “Fair” rating. On the positive side we find the camera to be the cheapest underwater camera and yeah it is positive that it is able to take pictures under water. On the negative side we find aspects with the Fujifilm camera such as poor image quality, no optical image stabilization and the LCD can be hard to see when it is sunny. If you are looking for an underwater digital camera it might be worth shelling out some extra money so you can actually get good pictures.

CNET UK has reviewed a new compact digital camera from Fujifilm with a large touch-screen. The camera is called Fujifilm FinePix Z700EXR and has a 3.5″ touch-screen combined with face recognition and Facebook tagging.

Some key features for the Fujifilm FinePix Z700EXR:
-12 megapixel image sensor
-3.5″ LCD touch-screen
-5x optical zoom lens (36-180mm)
-HD movies in 720p quality

-Facebook tagging

CNET UK ends up giving the Fujifilm FinePix Z700EXR an overall score of 6.7 points out of 10 possible. The reviewer likes the large LCD screen and touch-screen functionality can be very useful. On the downside we find several things like that the EXR sensor is not all that good and it makes more problems than gains. In addition the image quality is just average and zoom range is not at all wide making the camera less useful when photographing landscapes. Overall the Z700EXR seems like a capable digital camera, but there are better cameras on the market.

CNET UK has reviewed a new compact digital camera from Fujifilm. The camera is called Fujifilm FinePix F80EXR and feature a 12MP Super CCD EXR image sensor.

Some key features for the Fujifilm FinePix F80EXR:
-12MP Super CCD EXR sensor
-10x optical zoom lens (27-270mm)
-3″ LCD screen
-Able to record 720p HD movies
-Pet Detection mode

CNET UK ends up giving the Fujifilm FinePix F80EXR a pretty good review with an overall score of 7.7 points out of 10 possible points. The reviewer likes the nice zoom range, the dynamic range modes and that you are able to use autofocus and zooming while using the video mode. What the reviewer does not like is that the F80EXR produces some pixel artifacts, that you get a drop in resolution while using EXR mode and the EXR setting is not fully integrated while shooting in normal mode. Overall the Fujifilm camera is nice looking camera that might have benefited from having a “normal” image sensor instead of the EXR one.
