Digital Camera Review has tested the compact camera Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25. This digital camera has some nice features like 12.1 megapixels, 5x optical zoom lens and a large 3″ LCD screen.

Digital Camera Review ends up giving the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 a pretty average conclusion as the pictures that this camera produces are of hit or miss quality. Sometimes you get pictures of high quality, but often you will get pictures of lower quality. There are some positive sides to this Panasonic camera like easiness of use and stylish design, but the autofocus is slow and there is a bit of noise at higher ISO levels.

Trusted Reviews ends up giving the Fujifilm FinePix Z30 a 7 out 10 rating. The camera scores best at build quality while it scores a bit lower on features (it only as automatic modes) and image quality. The auto focus is pretty unreliable and the automatic white balance is a bit off.

Digital Camera Review has reviewed the rough Olympus Stylus Tough-6000 compact digital camera from Olympus. This waterproof camera is a bit cheaper than other waterproof models on the marked.

Some key features for the Olympus Stylus Tough-6000:

-Waterproof down to 3 meter
-Freezeproof
-Can handle drops from 1.5 meter
-3.6x wide optical zoom (28-102mm)

Digital Camera Review ends up giving the Olympus Stylus Tough-6000 an ok review as it is indeed a very tough camera that is able to take pictures in rough conditions. But there are a few shortcomings like poor autofocus in dim light, noise at higher ISO levels and slow flash recycle time. Overall the Tough-6000 seems like a nice camera if you often need to use a camera in rough conditions.

AgfaPhoto has announced a new rugged compact digital camera. The camera is called AgfaPhoto DC-600uw and is waterproof down to 10 meters. It is also protected against dirt and dust so it should be a good camera for people doing a lot of outdoor photography where the conditions are rough.
