Brother DCP-J125

Trusted Reviews has tested an inkjet printer from Brother. The printer is called Brother DCP-J125 and is a budget inkjet printer that you can buy very cheap. Among the features we find that printer can print up to 33 pages per minute, or so Brother claims, and it has a built in media card centre.

Some key features for the Brother DCP-J125 printer:
-Print speeds up to 33 pages per minute in black and 27 pages per minute in colore
-4.8cm LCD screen
-Up to 19200 x 19200dpi colour scan resolution
-Built in media card centre
-Paper capacity up to 100 sheets
-USB 2 connectivity

Trusted Reviews ends up giving the Brother DCP-J125 a total score of 8 out of 10 possible points. The Brother printer scores highest on value for your money, a little lower on features and print quality while scoring lowest on print speeds. If you are looking for a cheap inkjet printer that gives you quite a bit of features for the money then the DCP-J125 might be your choice, but it is not a speed king when it comes to printing and the prints are not of the highest quality.

Leica V-Lux 20

Leica V-Lux 20

CNET UK has tested one of the newest digital cameras from Leica. This camera is very similar to the Panasonic ZS7/ TZ10 compact, but has a few changes and of course a higher price tag. The Leica camera is called Leica V-Lux 20 and features over 12 megapixels, 12x optical zoom and even built-in GPS.

Some key features for the Leica V-Lux 20:
-12.1 megapixel image sensor
-12x optical zoom lens (25-300mm)
-3″ LCD screen
-Built-in GPS
-720p HD video recording
-Uses SD and SDHC memory cards

CNET UK ends up giving the Leica V-Lux 20 a total score of 3.5 stars out of 5 possible. On the positive side we find aspects such as useful zoom range, good construction, the camera is easy to use and the GPS-tagging is handy. On the negative side the reviewer finds only one major point and that is hefty price tag that comes with the red Leica badge.
The V-Lux 20 is a very good compact camera, but is the Leica tag worth the extra money or maybe one should look at other compacts that has more features?
