Trusted Reviews has tested a Canon laser printer that has a low price tag. The laser printer is called Canon i-SENSYS LBP3010 and is able to print up to 14 pages per minute in monochrome. The Canon printer seems to be targeted at the entry-level laser printer market.

Trusted Reviews ends up giving the Canon i-SENSYS LBP3010 a very good review and even gives it a “Trusted Reviews Recommended” award. The printer gets an overall score of 9 out of 10 possible points. The Canon scores highest on print speeds and value for your money, a little lower on print quality and lowest on features. The LBP3010 seems to be a great little mono laser printer for personal use in your home office or for school work. It may be a little expensive to run, but it is still a good choice if you are looking for a cheap laser printer.

HP LaserJet Pro M1212nf has reviewed a monochrome laser printer from HP. The printer is called HP LaserJet Pro M1212nf and has duplex capabilities along with a 150 sheet input tray and automatic document feeder.

Some key features for the HP LaserJet Pro M1212nf:
-150-sheet input tray
-100-sheet face-down bin
-35 sheets automatic document feeder
-Automatic duplexer
-2-line, 16-character display ends up giving the HP LaserJet Pro M1212nf an ok review with a total score of 3.5 out of 5 possible stars. The reviewer really like the extremely fast printing, the quality of the monochrome prints and the easy Plug and Play technology. On the negative side we find aspects such as high price tag and that links to online user guides did not work when the tests were done. Overall the HP printer seems like a good choice looking for a fast printer that makes monochrome prints of high quality.

Prakticka has announced a new digital camera. The compact camera is called Praktica DPix 5000WP and is waterproof with a modest 5 megapixels, but at a low price.

-Able to record 720p HD video at 30 frames per second

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.2 and Adobe Camera Raw 6.2 Release Candidate

Adobe has announced the release of two new release candidates of their products. The release candiditates are Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.2 and Adobe Camera Raw 6.2. The updates adds support for Raw files from 12 new models, improved lens correction profiles and over 50 new lens profiles.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.2 and Adobe Camera Raw 6.2 can be downloaded for free for Lightroom customers and Photoshop CS5 customers.

Adobe Posts Lightroom 3.2 and Camera Raw 6.2 Release Candidates on Adobe Labs

Adobe today announced the Lightroom 3.2 and Camera Raw 6.2 Release Candidates, available for immediate download on Adobe Labs. The updates extend raw file support to 12 new popular camera models, improve on several of the lens correction profiles introduced as part of the Lightroom 3 and Camera Raw 6.1 releases, and add over 50 new lens profiles to help photographers automatically correct for undesirable distortion and aberration effects.

In addition, the Lightroom 3.2 Release Candidate now allows Lightroom 3 customers the ability to publish their photos directly to Facebook from within the application, and addresses issues reported by customers on the Lightroom 3.0 release.
