Imaging Resource has tested the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX5 digital camera. This Sony camera is supposed to be the slimmest camera that is waterproof. The camera also handles drops and cold temperatures.

Some key features for the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX5:
-10.2 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor
-3″ LCD touchscreen
-4x optical zoom lens (25-100mm)
-SteadyShot Image Stabilization
-Waterproof up to 3 meters
-Coldproof down to -10°C
-Shock-resistant up to 1.5 meters

Imaging Resource ends up giving the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX5 a good review and it even gets a “Dave’s Pick” award. The reviewer find the TX5 to take pictures of good quality and the design of the camera is very good. It also has a lot of useful features and the zoom range is nice. The only downsides with the TX5 is that the noise filter can be too harsh and the auto focus could be better. Overall it seems like a very good waterproof camera that will fit most pockets.
