The exciting new wide angle lens from Olympus, the Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 9-18mm 1:4-5.6, has been reviewed by dpreview.com. This lens is a light weight and relatively cheap wide angle lens for Four Thirds photographers.
The reviewer Andy Westlake ends up giving the Olympus lens a “Highly Recommended (just)” rating due to the fact that lens is able to take pictures of very high quality, there is about no distortion and no falloff/vignetting.
A tiny downside is a bit of chromatic aberration.
The Olympus 9-18mm lens seems like an excellent choice for Four Thirds users that does not have enough money to buy the Olympus 7-14mm lens.
