The Nikon D7000 is a enthusiast photographers, but not in the highest price class. The DSLR comes with plenty of megapixels and you can photograph at an astounding ISO 25,600. About.com has now reviewed the Nikon D7000.

On the positive side the reviewer find aspects such as good image quality even at high ISO levels, the build quality is good, the autofocus system is advanced and you get full HD movie. On the negative side there is a couple points like overexposure in situations with lots of contrast, slow autofocus in low light situations and you can not change aperture while using LiveView. If the D7000 was priced a bit lower it would be the best choice for serious amateurs looking for a good DSLR. But the camera has a lot of good features so you will not go wrong by buying this Nikon.
