Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital ED 12mm f/2

Photography Blog has tested a new high grade lens from Olympus that they have made for the Micro Four Thirds system. The lens, called Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital ED 12mm f/2, and has a full metal body, built-in depth of field and distance indicators, in addition to enhanced multi-layer lens coating and very light weight.

Photography Blog ends up giving the Olympus lens a “Recommended” rating with an overall score of 4 out of 5 possible stars. The 12mm lens scores highest on image quality, features and design, a little lower on ease of use, while it scores lowest on value for your money. Olympus has created a great little lens that is able to photography excellent pictures, but the price tag might be a bit high for many photographers.

Epson Workforce Pro WP-4014DN

Trusted Reviews has tested a color inkjet printer from Epson called Epson Workforce Pro WP-4014DN. Epson claims that this printer is able to print up to 26 pages per minute. Let us hear what the reviewer thinks about this model.

The Epson printer scores highest on print speeds and value for your money where it gets a perfect score, a little lower on print quality and lowest on features. The reviewer finds several aspects that he enjoys with this inkjet printer including up to laser print speeds and good quality on photo prints. There is a couple of points hindering the Epson from getting 10 out of 10 and they are that the printer is missing wireless connectivity and it is a bit noisy.

Samsung ST96

Samsung seems to be working hard to be a popular camera brand. Here Photography Blog has reviewed a new compact digital camera from Samsung called Samsung ST96 that has over 14 megapixels and a wide angle zoom lens starting at 26mm.

-2.7″ LCD screen
-1080p HD video recording at 30 frames-per-second

Photography Blog ends up giving the ST96 a “Recommended” rating with an overall score of 4 stars out of 5 possible. The Samsung camera scores highest on value for your money, features and ease of use, while it scores a little lower on image quality and design. If Samsung had worked a bit harder on the image quality I’m sure this cheap compact camera would be a hit, but right now it is just another budget camera out there on the packed market.

Canon imageCLASS MF5950dw

Printer Comparison has reviewed an office laser printer from Canon that is able to print up to 35 pages per minute in black and white, or so Canon claims. The printer is called Canon imageCLASS MF5950dw and comes with wireless printing that could be useful for many offices.

Printer Comparison ends up giving the imageCLASS MF5950dw an overall score of 4 stars out of 5 possible. The Canon laser printer scores highest on print speeds, a little lower on features, operational costs and print quality and lowest on support. The reviewer really likes the very good print quality, the wireless function and the printer is easy to use. There are a couple of points hindering the Canon printer from getting a top score including scan quality and restart issues. It seems like Canon has improved a lot with this new laser printer in the imageCLASS series.
