Photography Blog has reviewed a more serious photo printer that is able to make A3+ prints. The printer is called Epson Stylus Photo R3000 and uses Epson UltraChrome K3 with Vivid Magenta Ink technology. Let us hear if this printer suits us photographers.

Some key features for the :
-Epson UltraChrome K3 with Vivid Magenta Ink Technology
-Roll paper in sizes up to 13″ wide
-Individual high-capacity ink cartridges
-Wireless, USB 2 and ethernet connectivity

Photography Blog ends up giving the R3000 printer a “Highly Recommended” rating and an overall score of 4.5 stars out of 5 possible. The Epson printer scores highest on image quality and design where it gets a perfect score, and a little lower on features, ease of use and value for your money. The R3000 seems to be a better printer than the previous in this line from Epson. It has more features, better design and is easier to use. If you are looking for a photo printer that makes excellent photos this might be your choice.

Trusted Reviews has tested a multifunction printer from Epson. The printer is called Epson Stylus SX525WD and is able to print up to 36 pages per minute, or so Epson claims. Let us hear what the reviewer thinks about this All-in-One printer.

-Multifunction printer (prints, scans and copies)
-Print speeds up to 36 pages per minute in both color and black
-Print resolution up to 5760 x 1440 dpi
-150 sheets paper cassette
-Slot for memory cards

Trusted Reviews ends up giving the SX525WD an overall score of 8 out of 10 possible points. The Epson printer scores highest on features, value for your money and prints speeds while it scores a bit lower on print quality. Even though the claims from Epson about print speeds are too high this printer is pretty fast and comes with a low price tag. If the print quality had been better I’m sure that this printer would score even higher.

Epson WorkForce 60 wireless color inkjet printer test / review by About.com

About.com has tested a budget inkjet printer from Epson that is selling for about $100 right now on Amazon. The printer is called Epson WorkForce 60 and is able to print up to 15 pages per minute, or so Epson claims.

Some key features for the Epson WorkForce 60:
-Print speeds up to 15 pages per minute in black and 7.1 pages per minute in color
-Up to 5760 x 1440 dpi print resolution
-Wireless printing
-250-sheet paper tray
-Automatic duplexing

About.com ends up giving the WorkForce 60 an overall score of 3 out of 5 possible stars. On the positive side the reviewer finds aspects such as useful wireless printing, good print quality (especially photo prints) and the duplex printing is fast. On the negative side the reviewer does not like that the Epson printer has no media slots and there are very few features. If you are on a budget and want a straight inkjet printer without much fuss and features this WorkForce printer might be your choice.

Printer Comparison has tested an All-in-One printer from Epson. The inkjet printer is called Epson WorkForce 840 and is able to print, copy, scan and fax.

Some key features for the Epson WorkForce 840:
-Able to print, scan, copy and fax
-Print speeds up to 15 pages per minute in black and 9.3 pages per minute in color
-Two 250-sheet paper trays
-30-page automatic document feeder (ADF)
-Automatic duplexing
-USB, ethernet and wireless connectivity

Printer Comparison ends up giving the WorkForce 840 an overall rating of 3.5 stars out of 5 possible. On the positive side the reviewer find several things including very fast single page printing, easy to use the printer with the touch panel and the wireless printing is useful. There are some negative points to like you can’t print automatically from the second tray and you can not print certain types of documents from USB.
